How would you describe your role within AEON?

I would describe my role as the first point of contact, providing a warm, welcoming and efficient experience for visitors.  I also facilitate all administrative tasks required, including answering the telephone, dealing with enquiries and maintaining a welcoming environment at Aeon.

What is the most valuable piece of advice you have been given?

I have been given two valuable pieces of advice.

1) Do to others as you would have them do to you.

2) Remember, you don’t know what another person is going through, so be kind – always!

What interests do you have?

I am very actively and passionately involved in a local charity that seeks to raise awareness and end human trafficking and exploitation around the world.  In my role supporting this charity, I have had the incredible privilege on several of occasions of being able to visit and work at one of our residential bases in a remote area of Kenya.

In my spare time, my other interests include baking (who doesn’t like a nice slice of chocolate cake, or a piece of tiffin), walking (to walk off the cake and tiffin 😂) and reading.

What is your favourite Holiday, Book, Board Game, Film, Sport and or sports team?

Holiday
Anywhere that has plenty of sunshine and warmth.  However, my favourite holiday destination so far has got to be Crete.

Book
I don’t have a favourite book.  However, I am a avid bookworm and love nothing more than curling up with my Kindle on an evening, to read the latest psychological thriller.

Film
Titanic and The Holiday and a good, side-splitting comedy.

Sports
I wouldn’t admit to being into any particular sport, although I do count myself as a patriotic football fan and will shout along with the rest of the country when England scores a goal.
